Step Up is a Ramona-based employment counseling and staffing service as a free service to both job seekers and employers. Step Up offers classes on Thursdays at 11 a.m. alternately at the Women's and Men's In His Steps Homes. The new program offers counseling, resume-writing assistance, career counseling, interviewing preparation and skills, networking instruction and tips, how-to advice on job searches and job referrals. For those in need there is a lending closet providing clean, pressed interview clothes.
